Vacancy - Employer Representative

A voluntary vacancy has arisen on our Derbyshire Pension Board for an Employer Representative. 

The role

The board is a crucial part of the governance arrangements for Derbyshire Pension Fund, who oversee and support Derbyshire County Council in its role as the administering authority of the fund. 

You will have the opportunity on the board to influence and support the efficient and effective management of the fund, and represent our 280+ participating employers.

The board is composed of 5 members:

  • An independent chair
  • Two representing employers who participate in the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS)
  • Two representing scheme members

The successful applicant will be a representative of a current participating scheme employer in the pension fund. 

Applicants can be officers or elected representatives of a scheme employer.

This post is unpaid and will commence immediately following confirmation of the successful applicants appointment.
